During this time, all of the services below are provided via Teletherapy on a secure video platform, or phone, if preferred.
I provide a 10-15 minute phone consultation free of charge. During this call, I will listen to determine whether I think my skill set matches your needs; if not, I will recommend another qualified provider or program.
Initial evaluation appointments are approximately 60-75 minutes. For children and adolescents, parents or caregivers will be asked to participate in this meeting in some capacity. During the initial meeting, we will work together to develop a clear picture of how I might be helpful, and I will recommend a preliminary treatment plan. I will also obtain your permission, if appropriate, to speak with other providers with whom you are working.
Individual therapy sessions are 45-50 minutes.
Family or couples therapy sessions may be recommended as part of the treatment plan. These sessions typically require more time than individual therapy sessions, and are scheduled for 60 minutes.
DBT skills groups, family skills groups, CBT groups, parent support groups, and supportive process group therapy sessions can all be important components of treatment. These groups will vary in frequency and duration.
Sometimes, off-site meetings, such as home visits or school meetings, are an important component of treatment.
Telehealth video or phone sessions may be scheduled when in-person meetings are not possible.
